I feel like that sometimes.

I love the colours here...there is a forboding atmosphere lurking behind, underneath...anywhere but where you can see. Brilliance!

this actually makes me more... lost. it makes me want to cry. then again.. lately i just seem to cry at everything. still, this touches me pretty deep.

That's awful. I hope creating this helped to relieve some of that tension.

maybe my eyes are tired (i can see black and white dots everywhere so that's a definite possibility) but she seems fuzzy and like a flickering television image, caught behind a window i don't remember being there before. it's going to sound silly and made up but this makes me feel very much like a small child, makes me want to reach out clumsily and grab her to make sure she's real because i can't quite tell. and with the intersecting sky and sea it's like i'm seeing for the first time that things aren't black and white, that people are flesh and insubstantial, that there's no law or rule that says the things you think you can see sometimes aren't unreal, that strange feeling when you're screaming and you find an empty pocket in your chest that you didn't know before, and you wonder what you lost. i think my throat is beginning to hurt from looking at this.
I think I took that photo just for you. I can't imagine a more perfect use for it. This image is really...

... just wow. It expresses THAT feeling without question.

that feeling is hard to articulate, isn't it?
maybe that's the purpose of art, to say the unsayable ..
