best photograph i've ever taken ..

taken at the Cloncurry Show, Queensland, in 2010 .. just before the demolition derby and the monster trucks .. my IQ dropped several points, but it was worth it ..

a 'Show', in Australia, might be the equivalent to an American 'State Fair' or a Carnival ..

Nice pic, I can see why you like it, you can sense the anticipation of that pork or lamb treat forthcoming from those in the queue, it has a real sense of the fairground about it, I can practically smell the food looking at this !

yeah!

although i'm thinking that if this were a gregory crewdson photograph, he'd have spent a few million setting it all up, hired the 'actors', brought in a vast lighting rig .. then sold a copy of it to MoMA for a few million, rather than submitting it to devArt, where it dies a sadly predictable death ..
